Help!!!!
My '86 G2A was running good but only with about half choke. we were going and it just quit. Now it will only run intermittantly. if you actuall get it to crank up it will run for about 5 mins then putter out... Ive check the carb and cleaned it. (it really wasnt that bad) ive checked the plug for fire and it seems to fire but not a big arc. im just wondering if the coil could be getting flakey or do the just go out. ive tried several spark plugs but it doesnt make a difference... any suggestions would be helpful....

Re: Help!!!!
Do a compression check on the engine first. Then I'd check all the fuel lines including the vac line and replace if necessary. How did you clean your carb? Did you take it apart and clean the jets good? Wasn't really that bad can mean a lot of things. all it takes is a tiny bit of crud to really make a carb act up.

Re: Help!!!!
All fuel lines and vaccum lines are in good condition. i have yet to check the compression on it but the carb i took apart and cleaned thoroghly. what i meant by "it wasn't that bad" was that it was clean.
