I remember my Evenrude boat engine was a mix ratio of 16 to 1 or a quart of SAE30 to 5 gallons of gas. Times have changed and technology is on the up. It smoked very little, usually at start up. Flying as fast as a 8 hp outboard could go there wasn't any smoke.
