2013 drive EFI starts and idles but won't go
Any help appreciated. fresh oil change, clean new gas, obvious spark. Starts right up when gas pedal depressed but will not go. Just stays at idle.

It definitely starts, will even move a bit on level garage floor. The RPM's never go up past idle,

Check for a broken accelerator cable.

As smallblock previously mentioned a common failure point is the accelerator cable from the pedal to the governor.

Thanks but I don’t thinks that’s it. This is the first time I’ve worked on a cart though, just got it last spring.
If anyone’s got anything else I’d appreciate it. Concerned fuel isn’t getting out? Electrical issue with efi?? |

On the other hand, if that cable is the problem, I can’t see that it’s ohysically broken/stuck/etc so ammume it would be within the exterior casing? I don’t see it pulling or engaging the motor at all so there’s that.
Clearly not my area of expertise. |

Key off, seat bottom off. Slide your hand down the right front corner of the airbox until you can feel the bottom of the efi throttle body. Then with other hand press gas pedal so you can check to see that the throttle blade is opening.
