Default G16 Drive Clutch Replacement

I am replacing the drive clutch in a G16. Borrowed a puller from a friend. Makes the job a snap. The question I have is that the new clutch that is en route to me makes reference to “comes with oil pump drive gear”. I assume that is inside the crankcase and, obviously, this clutch is external. Will this drive gear be separate or did I order the wrong one? Thanks in advance.

A G1 clutch has the oil injection pump drive gear. G2-22 does not. You've ordered the wrong clutch.

Thank you sir. This is what I ordered. I’m hoping the picture is wrong...

Do your old clutch have a shoulder on it where the gear is pictured? If so it may be the same clutch two Jay bars will pop the gear right off it's only lightly pressed on

I'm so disappointed in those Comet clutch's...You will find that the clutch won't start to engage till very high RPM's. You'd have better served to bought an OEM replacement. What was wrong with your old clutch?

The rollers are all worn out and one of the weights came out and hit the cover and locked it in.

I use "Gboosttechnologies" steelroller/pin kits for the fraction of the cost. But there not site sponsors
