brake release functions
having trouble with my brake releasing when i accelerate -please remember im a newbie-lol
i cab unlock with my hand and then pull the brake back(although it is very tight)--just need to know the mechanix of the assembly i guess- older model yamaha gas |

Are you pulling the brake pedal back with your hand, is that what your saying? If so, There is a spring that maybe broke at the brake pedal mount area. It is coiled around the brake pedal shaft.
If not the spring, maybe the cables need lubricating, or broken spring on one of the brake plates behind the brake drum. Good luck Mike |
