54 degrees & flooding with all the melted snow coming down from the mountains. So a video might not be in my immediate future.
But we had 6" - 12" of snow & it was fun. I'm not sure it got around a lot better in the snow, but steered a lot better.

D*MN your ingenuity and the fact that I too live in the snow belt ....

Found a set of skis from the 'ol 1970 Skidoo in the barn yesterday, its supposed to hit like -20 with the wind chill this weekend so I probably won't have a chance to mock it all up until next week sometime but it's definitely GAME ON!

I'm trying to hunt down a set of those nylon strap "faux snow chains" - any ideas?

I guess global warming is over here. Went from mid 50s on Monday to under 20 last night..... and even got a little snow. Just a dusting to make it all white again. But there is more in the forecast so maybe I'll have the skis back out before long.

Definitely be sure to rig the skis so they won't flip over as you go in reverse for any reason. I cracked the Marathon front cowl pretty good doing this. Last night I removed it (what a PITA that was) & will be looking for a replacement today. Maybe upgrade to the one with headlights in it.

that's a drag - I replaced mine once, no WAY I want to go through that again!

The sled these came off must have had reverse, the skis have tips on both ends (not as much on the rear as up front, but close) so that should help ... the biggest problem I have right now is finding the patience to have a buddy make up some mounts, etc and not just try to "horseass" the skis on to an old set of rims I have laying around and giving it a spin :)

We've got about 7 on the ground right now, more coming mon/tue and no sign of anything above 20 degrees as far as they can see, aaaaah, Wisconsin .......

Oh, and BTW, like $44 for a new cowl at Buggiesunlimited, if I remember right (best price I found)

Too funny. Never saw that one. Looks like it steers great now.

I did however find a ton of others:

On a sport quad:

Crazy 3 wheeler with tracks & long forks:

And the list goes on. If you stay on Youtube, you'll find dozens of them.
