Default Crazy idea....or is it

Anyone taken an ATV transmission/transfer case and ran a belt drive to it then swapped in an ATV front end (suspension, axle, etc.) to make a 4x4 cart? Basically a cheaper way than the innovative engineering kit. Just had some ideas after looking at some parts and was wondering. Trying to get a plan for a future cart build.

Thanks,

Wes

This was the transfer case I was looking at. Guess one issue may be a shaft drive rear axle.

Older Polaris use belt drive in to trans and chain drive to both axles.
