Old thread but I just received my new controller and the SW180 and had the same question if anyone has any pictures of this new solenoid hooked up. Thanks in advance.

Thanks to this thread and all those that supplied valuable information I had to order XTC400 for a 2006 PDS 36v. Thanks to Cartsunlimited.net for the prompt delivery and your quick response to a couple of questions I had while installing. So far so good! A couple of hours and a couple of cold adult beverages last night and an hour or so this morning and up and running? Thank you all! Now to get the photo the correct way.

Welcome!

Read up everything about care and maintenance of batteries, especially if they're new, on ScottyB's website.

Got the cart running and did a little weed spraying yesterday. Noticed an electric burn smell and melted the regen resistor cover. Did I install this backwards? Also, do I dispose of the old speed cable? Large red wire is Battery +, I just labeled when installing so I knew where it went.

The regen diode was installed backwards and is probably burnt out.

The freedom mode plug is only for the stock PDS controller, no other value.

Is there a way to use the xct program when not connected to the controller? To set up maps or adjust and save them for future use

So the cart just decided to stop working while parked and charged. It just sat and shuddered. So I did what most rednecks do... tapped the solenoid and it started working again.... my question is when the peddle is depressed all the way down the light on the controller turns red. Is this normal? I have video.
