32volts!!! her charger will not kick on.

At this point it would be cheaper to add two more 8V batteries somewhere.....

From the photos, it appears the batteries are not fully in series. Can't really tell on the two left ones. However, there are wires connected to the left bottom battery positive terminal that I think should be connected to a negative terminal.

Confirm the four batteries main wires are in series, then make sure the other smaller wires connect to a positive on one end and a negative on the other.

Yeah 4 8 volts isn’t going to work. Question is what came out of the cart. 4 12s or ?

husband has gone through brain cancer and is in remission and she is trying to hold it together (with 3 kids), but is frazzled to say the least. think i have a few cores laying around, need to find the post about switching 4-12 tub to 6-8. think it will be the best/cheapest route.

The conversion kit from Club Car is north of 400 bucks which includes a new battery bucket...new version obc for the 6 8v batteries and all wiring...
You might be better off selling the 4 8v batteries and getting 4 12v batteries..

Yes you can do it without the conversion kit and people have...Read through this thread and make your decision..
