New to me '02 CC with EZGO Charger?
Hi Folks,
Glad I found your forum. My campground neighbour has decided to sell his electric CC, and I've become the proud owner of my first cart! We start camping again Thursday, and I'll check out the unit then. He mentioned that his 36V cart has an EZGO charger. Would this year not have an OBC (which I'll check when I get there) ? Is this charging solution okay ? - Things I know so far... he has been using distilled water to top of when required (good boy) - Had a loose wire, ended up melting a post.. drilled, tapped and all is good - Added a light set to it (I wired it in for him using the 'clip' method). Now I see her that a DC-DC voltage converter is best. Will have to find a good supplier in Canada, but the monthly switch will keep me out of trouble until then. Rhino |

Welcome to BGW!
The OBC will depend on what electrical system is in the cart. If the OBC has been bypassed the charger will be fine. |

Simply put...Club Car got the bright idea to put the intellegent part of their modern battery reading charger in the cart. That's right - part of the club car powerdrive charger is in the cart. ( OBC)

I'm sure our site sponsors would ship to Canada. You should 'make out' on the exchange rate? NO?

Agreed on the exchange rate. Just concerned about shipping. We tend to get bent over at the border when shipping via UPS. Brokerage fees are sometimes more than the product itself.

I am finding better deals at the US Post Office than the UPS anymore.
I don't think any of our sponsors are in Canada but, ask them about their shipping rates? |
