2008 EZGo TXT Freedom, Good deal?
I know a guy selling a 2008 EZGO Txt Freedom, 36 volt. It looks like new, very good condition. He said it will need some brake work, and new batteries in a year or so. His price is $1600, which is what the local ezgo shop offered him in trade. Is it a good deal? I would need to lift it, add a folding seat/cargo area in back, off road tires and a controller.

well not knowing where you are at.....the price of carts is very fickle.....what is a good deal where you are at might be a bad deal somewhere else.....OR a GREAT deal. what I would suggest is to look around your area, like the local papers, or Craig's Lists, that sort of thing....and compare prices. Just be smart......

That sounds like a reasonable deal to me. Not a steal but reasonable. 1200 would be sweet!
