If you are using stock wheels with no offset it may hit things on the inside. A stock G2 will rub the front shock with 20x10-8 lawn tires if you don't put a spacer behind the wheel. Many atv tires are wider or the tread sticks out, than lawn tires. I always recommend offset wheels just for the safety of better stability with a lifted cart, though the need is greater the higher your cart is lifted or faster you drive it or more you offroad.

Has anyone added spacers to their hubs to help w clearance?

Has anyone used the spacers for extra clearance? Did it result in running anywhere else?

Yes. I used the 2 inch aluminum spacers with 22's economy 4 inch lift on a G16. Had to trim the front rocker panels that run down the side. No big deal with a handheld grinder.
