Default Kf82 engine needs exciter coil?

Hi. Trying to find an exciter coil for 1991 club car. Got 5 carts. One with no motor. 2 others run. Got 1 blown as connecting rod bolts let go. Got 1 complete cart turns over good but no spark. Was missing exciter coil when I got it so took one off blown motor and it don't work. Any ideas?

Those exciting coils can be very hard to find. Nobody readily sells them new anywhere as far as I know. You have to scour eBay or find old carts and parts on your local craigslist at this point. Not what you were wanting to hear I'm sure.

I am in same boat, have a very nice cart but it's worth nothing now without this part. Wonder if there are other options at all???????

Is the 91 a year only fit or will the older ones work with the 3 wire triangular plug in work with a black separate wire?

Meanwhile, I'm here with a great running KF82 that was recently tuned up and then swapped for VC 460; that I can't even give away in FL..

Thanks to Springbok he found it on ebay for me. They still have them available and here is a link.

$77 life saver
What I have determined is if it has the triangle connector it is the right one for 91 and older carts.

Sweet5ltr, wished I was in Florida I would come buy it from you. I hate the thought of switching out to a big block. If you figure out a price shipped to Missouri I still might be interested.

Not sure if it would be worth to ship it, would need to be on a small pallet, etc. If anyone knows someone in my area that can use it, just send me a PM.
