Nah Kev, if you were to p*ss me off? you wouldn't be able to log onto BGW anymore!
If your still having starting problems, just add a little more detail about your symptoms, and what you've tried to resolve it, and maybe I/we/someone might be able to help you figure it out. |

Thank you ! When I said mash the pedal to start ,I should have said that it was not the usual right toe and away we go . I started it yesterday with our balmy 38 temps . Still very sluggish not cranking right , maintenance mode . Please advise . Levin .

Re: 2001 starting issues .
Does choking it help any? On both of my carts (my 2002 DS has around 3 or 4 months since I rebuilt the motor, my.93 has about a week on it) on first start of the day, I have to tap the choke quickly just to get it going and it fires right off. The rest of the day it's fine, never need to touch the choke.
Can you take a video of what it's doing? Probably easiest thing you could do is post it up on YouTube, and cut/paste the link here. If you list it up as "unlisted" it wont show up in search results, and only viewable by those of us that click the link you post here. |

Tapping choke started it . Of course it is setting in my cold storage , got snowplow in garage . It is just lazy to crank . Appreciate any help that I do not actually deserve , Kevin .

Re: 2001 starting issues .
Lazy as in spinning slow? Or takes a little longer to start. If 1 could be a bad ground or starter brushes. 2 could be an air box leak.

Or a weak battery...
If at all possible a 10 second video would be a huge help if we could see what going on |
