This thread is 4 years old, might want to start a new one. There's plenty of us messing around with our G1's, check us out with the search function.

You aren't going to get very far just changing jets. These little 2 strokes are tuned for low power, so lots of work needs done to get them right. I hope you are in for the long haul, this is no quick project on the G1. Stick with it, trial and error, keep good records of what you do, and post lots of pics!
