Are all Precedent Carts I.Q?

The sticky in the Electric Club Car area makes me believe they could be regen or IQ.

Many people interchange Regen and IQ when it comes to CC. I believe all Precedents are IQ as far as having the separately excited motor and the programing port. All DS CC are not IQ. You can have the same year on two carts and one will be IQ and one series.

For the most part yes, all 2004-2008 Precedents are IQ... But in 2008 they came out with the "Excel" system. They also continued to use the IQ system as well and to this date still use both. The Excel system has increased motor braking while you decelerate. It's easy to tell however, The IQ Precedent has a serial number of PQ#### while the Excel, if I remember correctly is a PH####. The two controllers are identical in shape, size, and bolt pattern. The Excel is Grey, the IQ is black.
