EZ no GO
OK I have gotten this cart for a spare. It is a 96EZGO and I charged the batteries that had been on it [sitting maybe 5 years or so] with another charger from my cart I might add cause the one for it wouldn't come on.
After a charge the pack only came to like 36.5 or so, and I drove the cart in a circle in front of my cart shed. It was bucking and going very slowly. Fast forward I put another pack on the cart [used batteries] and they now read 36.5 or so at the charge port. The cart I put in reverse no movement at all I put in forward and it just made a groaning sound and a little lurch forward. Now I would have thought the cart would do something at that voltage? Any ideas as to what to look for? Also my charger that came with the cart wouldn't come on, even after the pack voltage was enough for it to do so. I had a guy rebuild it with a new board. I plugged it in and it kicked right off. I let it run for about 2 to 3 hours the gauge was down to 10 or so I unplugged it and tried the cart no movement. So I plugged the charger back up, and it would only pun about five to ten seconds before cutting off. The guy that built it[the powerwise charger] says I have a bad battery? Any help you guys can give me would be great. Thanks in advance Jim |

Re: EZ no GO
Sounds like you got a mess of bad batteries..... check their voltage under load when you are trying to go - opposed to when standing still at rest.
