Default DCS yes or no

Looking at a cart for a project. I have only seen a picture owner says it is a txt dcs 36v cart, year unknown, runs, old batteries, $850. fwd rev looks like a handle. I live in a hilly community. Would this be a good cart to upgrade controller motor cables fw switch etc. 48v on 36v motor or would there be a better choice to start with.

Thanks

I like the DCX with an Alltrax controller installed. It produces more speed than Series and more torque than PDS

Sorry for the confusion. I meant DCS Ezgo
(DCX was the old model Alltrax we used on them) Nowadays we use the XCT400 controller on these carts

I have a DCS.

I have been working on mine for about a year...

Mine was basically stock DCS that someone had for a rare golf outing.

One year later...

New batteries, replaced the controller, new motor, flip seat, seat covers, all new front and rear leaf springs, new 20 inch tires, led lights and led light bar, accessory battery, Bluetooth sound bar in the roof, Bluetooth led under lighting...

I get the speed of 25 mph that I wanted...now I need a brake job.

Still have a bucket list of things I want to do...I guess it never ends.

Post some photos as you go along...
