new battery decision
I have researched the spects on t-105 Trojan batteries that I have in my cart.
I will have to drive 100 miles to buy Trojan batteries so I have looked at the local napa store and they have the napa 8146 which has a little higher specs and weighs 3 pound heavier than the Trojan t-105. does anyone know how well the napa 8146 battery holds up? |

Re: new battery decision
You could order Trojan batteries online and have it shipped it you want to avoid the trip. Just a suggestion.

Re: new battery decision
Compare shipping cost vs. driving. You will need to trade in your cores, which means you pay for shipping twice. If you take your cores with you, calculate the distance and MPG, to see what a half a day's drive is worth it.

Re: new battery decision
do you think the napa 8146 will last well as the 2013 old Trojan t105 have done.

Re: new battery decision
the cost of the napa 8146 is 109.00 plus tax if I bring the old batteries in when I buy the new ones.

Have you looked to see if you have a Crown Batteries distributer by you?

Re: new battery decision
I'm not sure who makes NAPA cart batteries, but they ought to do the job okay.
My neighbor put a set of 12V Napa cart batteries in his CC a bit over two years ago and they are hanging in there, but that is the only person I can think of that uses them. |
