rxv rear differential bolt size
tried tightening bolts and broke the head off of one. Trying my hardest to find size so when i get it out ill have correct one to replace it with. Any help is appreciated

In a pinch you could remove one of the other good bolts and take it to the store with you.

thanks, just bought a 13 rxv. Leaking rear differential. Looks like its not easy to refill.

The RXV uses a limited slip additive in the differential oil. If you leave that out, it can make "clunking" noises when turning, and could eventually result in broken differential gears inside of the carrier assembly. There are lots of resources here on how to deal with the differential cover and adding oil. Bob |

And unlike txts and previous models, the rxv cannot be properly filled through the pan. Needs too much fluid for that. Needs to be filled through an axle tube.
