2016 EZGO S4 Only goes 2 mph until flip switch??

I got this cart new about a year ago and keep it at my lake property that I only go to about a weekend per month- so the cart doesn't have much use on it. Last weekend, I charged it overnight but when i tried to drive it, it would only go about 2 mph! The battery meter showed full charge and batteries have never needed water yet and levels were full. I noticed if I flipped the trailer/kill switch under the seat back and forth several times, the cart would then go full speed but only until I came to a stop. Then it was back to 2 mph until I toggled the switch again. Looks like I'm going to have to take it in for warranty work the next time I'm there but just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue?
After searching, it looks like one other person on here had a similar issue but no one has ever responded to his post. Any help would be appreciated.

Found the issue!
I took the car in for warranty work and the computer threw a code that a solenoid sensor was bad. But once they ordered the part it didn't fix the issue. So they replaced the 1"x1" square relay switch that sits right on top of the main computer (right under the flap) with one off a brand new cart on their showroom floor and that fixed the issue! The techs said they've never heard of this issue and the part isn't even listed in their 2016 parts catalog.
