I know this is an old thread but I have a simple question on the topic of micro switches.. didn't feel it was enough to start a new thread. Lol! can one be bad but still have continuity?

I had one on my F/R switch that was showing continuity, but didn't have a good enough connection to work. I pulled it and filed/cleaned the connections and it's been working for a couple of months now.
So I guess my answer is "yes" I tested it using the Ohm setting on my multimeter, and noticed it was giving a different resistance reading than the other microswitch on the F/R. |
