99 percent done
I been workin on rebuilding my 81 CC all winter. with the exception of a couple of pieces of diamond plate I am done.Every inch of wire has been replaced. All the suspension has been replaced (and painted) everything that could be polished was. I made new nameplate, gas pedal, and brake pedal all aluminum, custom fabbed front bumper with lights integrated into it. LED headlights, and back lights. Under glow. Custome paint. etc etc etc. Almost lost the wife over this. All said and done I have approximately 400-500 hours in it. Lemme know what you all think.
The starting point. solenoids before. solenoids after. motor before motor after speed control before speed control after. (the "yellow" line you see on box is in fact a 2x4 leaning on wall) Motor installed back on rearend. Note painted springs. I will post more pics soon |

Re: 99 percent done
Your build looks great, but FYI... keep an eye on the oil seals in the axles of that rear drive unit. Those things are notorious for leaking. The bad part, they don't sell replacement parts for it anymore. It's a Fuji differential.
