Question Precedent Allsports 3 inch lift problems

Ok, I've searched the site thoroughly and can't find my issue, so here it is...

Allsports 3 inch lift. Rear is supposed to be easy... But this kit has literally nothing for me to use to reattach after putting the spring on top of the axle. I have 4 little plates that don't seem to fit anywhere for securing the axle, and even if they did fit, they certainly aren't sturdy enough to attach to the shock.

Oh, btw, zero instructions in my kit and the crappy ones online are for the 6 inch with heavy duty springs... None of which even resembles the parts I was given.

If anyone has experience with this specific kit, I'm eager to get this done. Cart
Is all jacked up and half the rear Is waiting to be reattached.

I'm a new post-er, but been learning from you fine folks for the last 2 years. Thanks for all your help and info prior to this, and hopefully for some new info now.

-2007 Precedent (4x12 volt) Black w/rear seat... Some nice graphics, and soon to be nice wheels!

Adding some pics for reference... That little piece is less than half as thick as the original bracket.

I have 4 of them but they don't really fit above or below the axle. Worse yet, the holes in them aren't big enough for the bolts that are included in the kit.

OK... So I got a response from Allsports directly... and luckily I am not insane. =)

I am attaching the instruction sheet for any and all to see. It doesn't exist anywhere else on the web, that I can find, so hopefully this will come in handy for others.

The rear is so different from all the others I've seen... they actually give you an extension kit that adds the 3 inches to both the shocks, and the spring mounts on each end. There is no change at all, in the axle, bracket, u-bolt, etc... you just remove the shock and spring add the extenders and re-attach them all as-is. Simple enough, I suppose, but certainly not intuitive without a photo to clear up the confusion.

I'll be finishing this up tonight and looking to do the front as well. I will post some shots of the lift stuff once complete.

Yep they're shackle extensions. I didn't trust the design at first but after installing a few, they hold up really well.

TDawg, thats actually good to hear. I was questioning the design a little myself during the install. I admit it seems to be fine once its installed, but it looked a little "iffy" there for a while.

I am throwing some photos on here for the finished product...

It looks good. What size are the tires?

I went with 10 inch RHOX VEGAS wheels and I used the Kenda Speedracer tires at 18x10-10.

I only use it on paved and grass, so i didn't need a huge lift, nor offroad tires, so I went with the 3 inch lift and 10 inch wheels.

One thing to note... the 18x10-10 Speedracer tires actually measure out closer to a 20 inch tire than an 18.

My top speed went from 17-18mph to 19-21mph just by adding the lift and tires, so I'm pleased all around. Cart is only set at speed 3 and no magnet or any other mods.

P.S. - Sorry about the hood decor... I know that ain't your favorite.
