slow cart?
I have a 36 volt club car ds with resistor coils. The cart goes faster in reverse then it does going forward. I did the full power reverse wire switch and now it hauls butt in reverse but does not goes as fast in forward. dont get me wrong it goes fast in forward, just not as fast as reverse. no coils are broken and v-glide is adjusted right. what would cause this? Thank you in advance

Re: slow cart?
It has to do with the way the motor timing is set.... wasn't noticeable at half power reverse.
I've often wondered about taking the differential out and flipping it 180* around so reverse is forward... of course the brakes would have to stay on the side they are... might be a lot of work for a few MPHs....? |
