Yes. I can hook my puter to it and tell it the max voltage I want it to send to the motor when I have the pedal to the metal. (In a percentage) Like 48 volts is 75% of 64 volts. What's good (as I understand it) is when I head up the hill and 48 volt pack terminal voltage would drop due to load, The controller will call on that extra 16 volts to keep it at 48 volts to the motor terminals. It converts the needed extra voltage to the needed current to meet the load. So.... I can go up the hill at 16MPH just like I can go down the flat road at 16MPH. |
