need help on a 2002 standard txt 36v
One of our park carts had some wiring chewed up by an animal the blue and the green wires to the key switch were burnt and the analog gauge wires were chewed.
I've replaced the green and blue switch wires back to the micro switch and the spade connector, replaced the gauge wires to the batteries and installed a inline 3 amp fuse in the circuit. the diode was blown and I replaced it also. The only way I can get the solenoid to engage is jump the B+ to the red wires on the small post on the solenoid. Any of the cart pros out there have any ideas edit to add I now have 4 carts sitting in my driveway, and the 2002 is jacked up on jack stands Last edited by vagabond; 02-10-2014 at 09:11 PM.. The solenoid activation circuit that was bypassed by the jumper wire (highlighted on attached schematic) contains four switches and the contacts in any of them could have been vaporized when the wires to the keyswitch melted.
The reed switch in the charge receptacle and MS-2 on the F/R assembly are the most likely suspects. |
