Engine Swap
I Have A 94 Ezgo Gtx-800 I Am Thinking About Putting A Briggs 16 Hp In It. The Frame Is Like A Marathon But I Saw A Tread With A Marathon With A 295 And IT Looked To Have Less Room. My Question Is The Rear Suspention Hoop The Same Or Is Mine Longer? THANKS FOR YOU HELP BILL

Re: Engine Swap
Not sure I understand what you are asking. You should have room for a 16 hp, may have to lift the cart though.

The only way I know how to tell (for sure) what you have is post some pics of it so we can see it. I agree you should have no problems fitting in the bigger engine |

Re: Engine Swap
2 strokes carts run the engine backwards for reverse
4 strokes carts have reverse built into the rearend so it depends on which type your big blocking |
