Carryall Tire Question
Does anyone have one of these that have used 22 inch tires on the rear? The wheels are 8 inch with a 3/4 offset. I know that 20 inch will work as I just took some off to put the custom wheels on. Thanks.

Re: Carryall Tire Question
FWIW, The folks at Jake's told me that with their 6" lift kit I'd be good up to 22x11x10. I have 10" wheels on my '97 Carryall II.

Re: Carryall Tire Question
I bought the tires and wheels in the picture from Craigs List a Few days ago They are 18x8.5-8. I took 20x10-8 tires off the rear to put these on. I would like to put 22x11-8 on the rear. My speed droped from 16 mph to 13 mph with this change. I am thinking I may be able to get 19 mph with 22 inch tires on the rear. I think there is room just not sure. I'm not interested in doing a life yet. Thanks. Gerald.

Re: Carryall Tire Question
I put a set of 25x10.5-12 on my 99 Carryall.
You can see the pics on my thread here: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...-increase.html Came out great and really increased speed too. |

Re: Carryall Tire Question
Thanks Fellows. I think the tires that I took off had swollen over the years. I will measure them and see. I don't want to order tires and find that they will not work. Ckiguy what brand tire do you have on your Carryall?

Re: Carryall Tire Question
You won't fit 22" tires on the cart in your pic, without lifting it.From the looks of how it sits,20" tires were rubbing or close to it.The one thing that the other members forgot to mention was how much lift they have with the tires they have.Hope this helps.

Re: Carryall Tire Question
Sorry about that. I completely forgot about needing the lift kit.
Worth the investment for looks and a lil more pep though for sure! |

Re: Carryall Tire Question
Also the carry all has a diffent drive belt, then a ds. If I recall its slightly smaller, I was told its for torque reasons. You can get a little more speed using a ds belt.
this is the onesi have from factory. There 22 in.... but I do have a factory z bars to drop front end down. |
