Default Hit By Lightning

My mail lady asked me to look at her cart, she thinks it was struck by lightning.
It's a 2007 Yamaha sepex 48V.
Does not run.
No sign of burnt wiring.
No beep when pushed backwards and no reverse buzzer.
Does not click when switched from tow to run, she said it always did.
Battery pack 50+V
50+V in and out of dash switch and tow/run switch.
New F/R switch @ 50+V, tests good.
Can a burnt fuse cause this?
Is it controller?
Anything else I should test?

Model? 2007 was a crossover year where both the YDRE & G22 were available.

Ser # Ju2307

She said she flipped tow/run switch after I left, and the cart worked for a while and then quit.

That's crazy? Was the voltage low when it quit?
Can she charge the cart?

New batteries at 50+V
No backup beep or reverse buzzer.
I went this morning ,it would not do anything for me.
Small relay red term to pack+ = 50+V with T/R switch in run, 0V in tow.
Small relay black term, same results.
From pack+ to frame, I get 24V. Is this normal?
All connections appear to be clean.

Can a faulty stop switch or TPS prevent controller from energizing solenoid when T/R switch is flipped to run?

Solenoid clicks when small - terminal is jumped to pack-.
I get sparks when jumped from pack+ to small + on solenoid.
Voltage converter is disconnected.

24v to frame isn't normal, most common cause is bad carbon buildup inside motor. Speaking of motor, it is the not-so-awesome Hitachi in that year G22, might want to check motor. I am also concerned about the sparking on solenoid small red terminal, that terminal should be B+ whenever the Tow/run switch is on. But that circuit is protected by a low amp fuse (smaller than 10a), fuse could have blown from the sparking. Do not go jamming 20a, 30a fuses and stuff in there for "testing", that's how fires happen, you might get to test your fire extinguisher. 10a fuse max.

It sparks when I jump it, otherwise it does nothing.
Is there a 10A fuse somewhere?
All I see is a 3A fuse and it is good, checked after sparking.

The 3a was the one I was talking about. But, the wires and such are big enough that a 10 fuse wouldnt be a danger. You are getting it to run by jumping the small red wire on the solenoid to B+? That's tied to the tow/run switch for its power source.
