Re: Resistor got solid state conversion
[quote=huntingcart2393;1682818]Doesn't matter. The Alltrax will work with either throttle type.

I’ve got everything ordered and I’ll get here by the end of next week. I will be posting more pictures then! One more question. When I removed the v-glide there was a thin metal sheet between it and the frame where it was mounted. I removed that and got rid of it. Is it necessary for anything? To ground anything out? |

Re: Resistor got solid state conversion
Mine has a shim under it, I'm guessing it's 1/8"-3/16" thick. Not sure if it's for linkage alignment or ?.

Re: Resistor got solid state conversion
I got the battery tray sanded. Cleaned with acid then several coats of aluminum anti corrosion primer. Finally rustoleum bedliner coating. Resistors should be here tomorrow then several more days on the solenoid. I think it suppose to be here the 24th

Re: Resistor got solid state conversion
Also folks this will be a outdoors / hunting golf cart so any extra modification/ accessories you can think of would be awesome. I’d love to add a locking differential but I cannot locate one for the life of me! May end up welding the rear end if I get stuck too often!

Re: Resistor got solid state conversion
The spacer plate needs to be under the V-Glide.

Re: Resistor got solid state conversion
Yes it's for alignment and it keeps the clamping force of the bolts spread out over a much larger surface than just the tabs in the bottom of the V-Glide. I've seen numerous V-glides busted out at the bottom where the bolts go. Nine times out of ten it's because somebody installed it without the spacer.
