Hi, does anyone know which Delta Q model is used in these carts? I'm trying to figure out if I need a 30amp dedicated service to charge since they have that on the charging cable? The male plug that goes in to the wall outlet is a standard 3 prong plug like a 15 or 20 amp circuit. So that's why I'm wondering. I'd like to get the manual so I can have detailed information about it, like what the actual current draw is. The cart has (6) 8v US Battery batteries in it.
Thanks for any help I could get. |

Re: Icon I40
My I understanding is if cart is charging at 30 amps, that is at a dc rate, not ac. Not sure how you mathmatically figure it out. I run my 20amp +/-DPI charger on a 15 amp circuit which is shared and never had a problem.

Thanks. I'll have to do some research. I can also say the charger cable is not rated to 30 amps....it's definitely not 10ga wire.
Does your plug stick in the outlet. Mine has a few times so far. |

I use a dab of dielectric grease on the prongs about twice a year. Works wonders.
