I agree with Rib, These rears are very sturdy and in most cases where the oil isn't gone and you have catastrophic failure, a bearing will get noisy first.
Every bearing (and seal) in that housing will have part numbers laser stamped on the making them very easy to source on line.
And usually cheaper.
Being that you are that deep into it, and for the cost, I would do a full set replacement and ride for another 20 years.

I see the manual and thank you for that.
But I guess it's useless if you can't buy the parts.
I don't see anywhere that you can buy those spider gears and the cross pin .
You were spot on. I did pull the pass side axel and that bearing is completely trashed.
I have ordered both sides along with the seals.
I have yet to get the seal out on the pass side. What a PIA.
I ordered an inner seal puller but I may have to wind up making something to use with a 5lb slide hammer.
I suspect that both sides are going to be this bad. Its clearly never had any maintenance.
The bearings are marked " Japan ". I suspect those are the original 1990 ones.

Im hoping that the trashed bearing was causing the axel to oscillate and cause the carrier noise I have been hearing and the slop in the spider gear to cross pin clearance won't be the issue.

Do you know where a bearing kit can be bought or do you just have to yank it all down and order each bearing per the part cross reference ?

I did find the complete carrier
https://shop.txtsv.com/differential-...-z-go-vehicles

I also see a cross pin and roll pin but zero spider gears.
I guess $700 is better than a new cart.
Hope I dont have to buy one.
