Default Question on Low Compression

Hey everyone, I have a 2000 EZGO TXT. Could smell it smoking a bit and went through the process of valve adjustment which helped compression a bit, but I have one cylinder at ~155 and the other at ~105psi.

I found a comment saying if you pour some oil in the cylinder and check compression and it's good then you need rings, if it's still low then it's valves. Adding oil I was up to 155 psi.

My question is ... am I just doing harm if I continue to drive the cart with low compression on one cylinder, or should I get this work done ASAP?

The cart doesn't get a ton of use but don't want to damage something.

If youíre at 105 on one cyl and 155 on the other Iíd stop using it until you can have the engine rebuilt. Itís gonna leave you stranded somewhere at this pace, usually at the most inconvenient time.

Appreciate the quick reply. I'll keep it parked until I can get it taken apart.
