Default Advice needed on EZGO 04 model

Hi Guys

I'm having some trouble with my cart which is a electric EZGO 04 model.

Today it was working fine and all of a sudden just stopped. When I pressed the accelarator it makes a rough buzzing sound almost as if the motor cant engage and sounds if something is slipping. I dont know anything about carts and dont have any agents in the area so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Rough buzzing noise could be amperage arcing? or it could be a stripped axle hub?
Lift the seat and check for the arcing?

Okay checked and its not arcing.
I sounds more like gears that are stripped or something.
If it is the axle hub is it a major job to repair?

Thanks for the input.

sounds like a spun hub to me... pull the D/S rear brake drum and inspect the splines, they are probably nice and smooth.

$50 for a new drum/hub and you are on your way.
