Re: New Alltrax Line up of Speed Controls
Hadn't thought about mounting a controller under the access panel/above the motor, that would allow for 8 batteries under the seat and that would free up the bag well for beer instead of batteries....double hmmm.

Re: New Alltrax Line up of Speed Controls
When it comes time to do it, I'll build a rack under the access cover to hold that purty spm controller and solenoid. Then cut out a hole in the cover and put a piece of plexiglass in it like I've seen done here so you can see everything.

Re: New Alltrax Line up of Speed Controls
Does the battery still fit with the F&R switch? Or what do you do with it?

Re: New Alltrax Line up of Speed Controls
Do you still have the mechanical f/r switch? The one that has the rod that runs down to the passenger side? I replaced all that with a hd unit from a club car. (Don't tell anyone ) this allows room for an extra battery, when I relocate the controller and solenoid, like the space on the drivers side.

Re: New Alltrax Line up of Speed Controls
After thinking about it, I'll still have to do some re-configuring to get 9 batteries under the seat.....9×8=72.

Re: New Alltrax Line up of Speed Controls
Scotty, did you look at the diagram for a series setup for the new controller? If you are using the controller to activate the solenoid, you no longer are required to put in a diode on the solenoid itself? Guess that means they have one internally? The E-Z-GO and Club Car diagrams still show the diode, but then again, they only show the coil getting ground from the controller.....
