If you put a rearend dif on the front wouldn't that cause damage when you stepped on the go peddle and squish the buggie or tear it apart if going in reverse?

I'm not sure welding Aluminum with mixed gas is right but no matter,
A competent welding shop should be able to re-align and weld it up possibly with the gears still in it. Worth at least a general inspection from them. |

Axle tubes are just plug welded into the houding.
