Stumped
My friend and I combined are pretty good at golf cart repair .Working on an 85 2pg today and have plenty of spark, good plug, reeds checked and it should run but doesn't seem to be firing . .Unbolted the muffler and it started to fire but would not start and continually backfired .Carb, fuel supply, gas are all good .Did a compression check and it only 65lbs .I've seen carts that run fine with this reading but.......... any ideas or definite answers ?

Re: Stumped
Agreed. 100# is considered the very low end of acceptable, 120 or up is optimal.
