Ezgo St Sport ll
I was on a ruff dove field the other day and it was not possible to hold the speed steady. The unit would accelerate and decelerate at slow speed it would slow down almost to a stop and if I gave it some gas it would take off to fast.
Is it possible that the unit just is not made for that type of use? |

Re: Ezgo St Sport ll
The engine surges at low speeds this seem to be the problem. Anyone got an idea?

Re: Ezgo St Sport ll
start by checking the Throttle cable / return spring - it's common for the springs on the carb to wear and the throttle opens before the ignition is fired by the pedal microswitch .... The symptom is an inability to run at a creep, it's surging like You stomped the pedal for a bit then smoothing out, right?

Re: Ezgo St Sport ll
It was the spring on the carb. For some reason the idel screw had back out so I reset it and the engine speed settle down. Thank you
