I guess it depends on who you speak to but I don't think you'll have issues with the excel as in the past. I had both and feel I can I could do anything with either one as far as upgrades.

I agree, unless You drive in a flat area and are just looking for the inexpensive Speed Magnet upgrade that only works on IQ, no real difference in after market performance upgrades.

I would definitely recommend you look for a 2008.5 or newer Precedent that has the Battery tub that supports 6x8v batteries.

The main difference between the 2010 IQ and Excell Precedent carts is the Controller, all mechanical parts are the same.

That is the same cart I have, the Regen brake is way better than the one on the IQ model, I hardly have to use my mechanical brake.
