Loosing Power Sporadically
We bought a Melex electric golf cart just about a year ago. This past summer it worked fine for about two months of consistent use but then we started loosing power. We would be moving a long fine and then the power would just shut off. Sometimes it would happen when we hit a bump sometimes it was just randomly. The batteries are just over a year old, we did eventually see the copper stud on the motor was loose and spun.
I called our local golf cart shop and he said there is no way to fix that and I would need a new engine. Has anyone had this issue and are there ways to fix it or do I need a new engine? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. |
