Default Curtis 1268 Fuse Location

Hi All,

Trying to find the fuses in my Zone Electric car as I believe I screwed up some of the wiring. Two of my tail lights blew and I now have no power to the entire car.

The batteries are 100% charged and the charger works, so I am assuming it is either the Curtis 1268, fuse(s) solenoid or motor. I am having trouble locating the fuses!

Attached are pictures of the charger, batteries and cables...

IN the back of the cart there will be 2 fuses. One is in a white holder with a tab on it. JUst grab that tab and pull up. Its a slow blow fuse. You cant see if its blown without a meter. If you shorted something out, chances are good you blew that fuse.

I found the white fuse in the white box - but I believe this is the one that controls the headlights and taillights. I have a volt meter - can I use the volt meter to test the fuse or should i just buy a new one?

I have no idea where the other fuse might be located---- any thoughts? I am including some pictures of the internal parts I can locate to the cart...

I located the WHITE ceramic 10A fuse and got a replacement for it. Unfortunately, I was not sure how to check the 425A ZEEMAIN fuse. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Attached are some pictures.

Sounds as though you do not have a multi-meter or have any idea on how to use one? Either way you could always move the larger red wire from one side of the fuse to the other (with the main pack negative disconnected of course) side of the fuse which will remove it from the circuit. Now reconnect the pack negative and test for operation. If cart works the fuse was blown if the cart still does not work you have other problems. Most carts don't have this big main fuse anyway.
