Default Bumpy Ride - One tire sticks out farther than the other.

Hey Guys,

I'll preface by saying I'm a complete novice with almost everything on here.

I've still been noticing that the ride is bumpy, and just now saw that the back driver side was the only one wobbling while driving. When I pulled into the garage and parked, I noticed that the back passenger tire sticks out farther from the axle than the back driver side tire.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Do you think it has anything to do with the axle being off center?

Sounds like a logical place to start.

Here's a better question: how the hell do I straighten an axle out? (please note that I told you I was a novice in the first post of the thread)

You need to start with an inspection for anything that isn't tight. It's most likely some lug nuts or some such that are not tight. Pictures may also help.

2004 36V TXT Shuttle.

I just put a 4" lift on the cart and the back axle isn't bent (the bumpy ride was happening before too). I'm wondering if its not a loose bearing or maybe even needs a hub replaced.

I was pretty unsettled that the axle seems to not be even under the cart.

possible you did not center it under cart ??

here is diagram of axle as you can see hub and axle tube are what space your wheels apart

hub attaches to wheel so no wobble is in axle

check tires ?

I'm embarrassed to say that the Battery Source near my house put on the lift and wheels and replaced the steering box. When it was said and done, it was the same price for them to install the lift and tires as it would've been for me to buy them online.

However, the bumpy ride was there before I put the lift on.
