Re: 12V Deep Cycle Batteries, Pros and Cons
Quote:
You can get a 36V pack with about the same AH using 6x12V in a series/parallel arrangement, but you may have to modify the battery frame to get them to fit. (12V deep-cycle batteries are longer than the 6V and 8V batteries that do fit in the stock frame) Also, there may be some charging issues. When charged in series, each battery acclimates to its own level, when charged in parallel, the weakest battery wins. |

Re: 12V Deep Cycle Batteries, Pros and Cons
no problem Sir !!
but what batteries are you referring to that are in the $150-200 range. Reason im asking is that I see alot of battery post on here where the Trojans are the best. Which ones do you suggest? For a six volt |

Re: 12V Deep Cycle Batteries, Pros and Cons
I was talking about the 12v Cart batteries.....not the 6v. As for 6v....I recommend any of the major Golf Cart battery mfg's.....AND buy the highest AH battery's you can afford.....the more the better. In the long run, you will be happy you did.
