Default No lights on 2002 Gas Club Car

My lights just stopped working the other night. I installed the light kit some years ago and it has been working fine until the other night. I have troubleshot it down to I believe the relay that came with the kit. The strange thing is that with the battery in the cart I cannot get the relay to work but if I use the battery in the 12 volt jump starter I have it does work. I am showing 12 volts on the cart battery and it starts the cart fine. Could the relay be getting weak and the jump starter battery just has a little more "ump" than the cart battery?

Yes..its the relay (little black square relay with four male connectors). I did just what you mentioned with the cart battery and the relay did not work. But when I did the same thing but with the battery in my jump starter it worked everytime and the lights worked. That's why I'm wondering if it is a weak relay. Your thoughts?

You could have a some resistance in the light switch or wiring or many places. You can try testing for voltage for switched power and constant power at the relay but relay is roughly $6. Change it and see if that fixes your problem.
