Subaru EX40 question
Does anyone know if this motor uses “wasted spark” ignition? Relates to PPR figure for the tach. Some small engines fire spark twice per rev, why idk but some do.
I’m about to hook up a Trail Tech Voyager so I can monitor its health. It shouldn’t be hard to figure out once I get it installed but maybe someone’s been there already. Gotta gauge it up before I crank it up. |

Re: Subaru EX40 question
Setbit for spark every revolution. If wrong, you will know it instantly.
Pretty hard not to have a wasted spark with electronic ignition on small engines. |
