anybody know of a fuel tank cap crossmatch?
i've got a 1997 ezgo medalist, with a missing fuel cap.
 don't know what happened to it. it was there last week. don't know if i didn't put it back on, or just didn't put it back on tight enough. anyway, anyone know if these are a universal type cap (ie, will fit john deere lawn mowers, that's a 2" standard cap, or whatever)? |

Look down along the sides of your tank with a mirror. I'd bet you'll find your cap! As far as an interchange, Sorry about that, I haven't a clue!

My buddy used a fuel cap off of a plastic boat gas tank. Now I don't know if it will fit yours, but theres a chance.

mine's off an old Skidoo sled - even has a working fuel float/gauge, $3 at a swap meet

thanks, guys. i stole the cap off my troybilt rototiller, and it fit perfect.
i think they would have you believe these things are specific to golf carts, but they're not. upon further research, i found quite a few riding lawn mowers with the same cap (and a troybilt tiller  )thanks for your help, though! i found it and forgot all about the thread  |
