Drive Clutch...HELP!
Hey everybody, I've got a 95 Medalist and the drive clutch has a rattle in it. So I pulled the black cover off and the spring is all messed up. It look like it had a tang on each end to go in holes on the clutch housing. I looked on CPP and all I could find is a clutch tuning spring but it has no tangs on it. Does anyone know if this will work or if not what I can do.

Re: Drive Clutch...HELP!
Thanks for the reply Rusty. It only rattles when you shut the engine off and the spring looks like it got mashed down and the one end is broke off. The broke end was still in the clutch cover so I figured that was what was rattling, but maybe not. I'll go ahead and order the spring. Have you tried this spring?
Thanks R Yow |
