Default OIL

Ok just rebuilt my two stroke in my 1981 EZ-GO Marathon. I see where I need to run the first tank at 40:1 ratio and then go to 128:1 after. I know 128:1 is 1 gallon of gas to 1 oz of oil. How much oil will i need for 40:1?
Also should i use Dyno or synthetic oil for the 1st tank?
Thanks for the help
