Rough cluch engagment - 1999 TXT
I'm a newbie here Wit a recently acguired 19995 TXT that runs great but has a very rough clutch engagement. I think I need to remove the driving clutch assembly, take it apart and clean and lub and perhaps replace some parts.
Ir really works fine except it is impossible to get smooth starts. Am I correct? I am a pretty good at taking things apart, figureing it out as I do and putting it back together but I am working with out a service manual(another concern) so I would like a little reassurance and to learn any tricks or cautions you can share. Are there any left hand threads I need to watch out for. I plan to use an air impact wrench to loosen the bolt on the shaft without the need of locking things from roatating. Help will be appreciated. Finally, is there a good source of am electronic service manual for this cart? I frankly prefer electronic. They never get dirty. Thanks a lot lefty2 |
